What do you think would happen if you responded with this to a prospect that's ghosting you (shitpost)

You know those scenarios where your gut is telling you the deal is dead due to no comms from the prospect, but you have to keep following up because there's a ~5% chance they're missing your calls/emails/texts/recorded messages played from the boombox you're holding up outside of their window.

What do you think would happen if you called the prospect a coward for not telling you no/ghosting. Obviously it would be bad, but my question is HOW bad would the fall out be.

It all depends on how vindicative they are. The bigger the company/title, the bigger the reaction you're likely to get. However, gotta watch out for the SMB C-suite, they will tweet storm, LI blast you and maybe arrive at your offices to talk to your CEO.

C-suite at SMB level are either extremely chill or feel like they are god 😅

I think there is a tactful way to ask that question and not jeopardize yourself.

I was ghosted hard by someone earlier this year who I had spoken with around 15 times over a six week period. Obviously I called, emailed, and texted multiple times and played the angle of did I do something wrong? Are you okay?! Are you alive!??

But don't worry...I will get my redemption. He is confirmed to be at the same conference as me in another month and I will be on the lookout for him. Can't wait to walk right up to him with a big smile and say hello!

I wouldn't say coward but I've definitely sent a few "come on, man" type shots across the bow before. People do seem to respond to that.

What value would calling someone a coward bring to the equation? Most non sellers ghosts for two key reasons 1) no one likes delivering bad news 2) they don’t understand that as sellers we are wired to never “take the hint”. I’ve started trying to “educate” non sellers that no’s are just as valuable as Yes’ for sellers.

When a lead answers the phone for the first time in history only to scream at me to stop calling my first reaction is to laugh really loud. I don't even think about it.
