Don't get hung up on the losses. There are a lot more losses than wins.

Don't forget about the top of your funnel when you have a lot of late stage opps.

Learn the right way to use your CRM, not the lazy/easy way.

Learn to shut it off after-hours.

It's super easy to focus on that one shitty call, stupid account changes, your Mgr leaving, etc.

You still have a job and you can still hit your number - get some kind of outlet to help disconnect and stay sane.

Who your manager is will be way more important than how cool the target accounts are - you could have customers with the world's deepest wallets, but a bad manager will still make you miserable.

Honestly, I just wish I knew where to go for mentor ship. Sales was my first ever job out of school. I was a naive kid. Got screwed along the way a ton. Live and learn...

Great point and same! in hindsight I could have achieved so much more sooner with the right mentorship in place.
