Reading the horror stories about unfair comp plans, nasty work environments, poor leadership, etc. has made me grateful for what I have- while knowing what to sniff out with recruiters.

Exactly this. Also it has opened my eyes as to what is normal and what is not normal/ok treatment from management.

For sure, I’ve read more scary stories here than all those childhood books o was into many years ago. It makes you appreciate what you have more and more, and gives you a grasp of the whole sales world out there, both good and bad. Especially in our industry it’s important to have perspective of how the industry works and moves. Bravado has been a huge eye opener for me in a great way!

Right! I've only had a sales job at one company- so while LinkedIn as told me about the "good" and the "bad" about sales. The War Room has opened up the "true" and the "ugly," which is soooo much more helpful when considering my career and work environment.

Exactly my thoughts! I feel like the platform has enriched my limited knowledge of the industry coming from the true warriors of the industry. Prospecting at its best if you ask me!

I think reading all the horror stories is making me more aware of red flags all over the job markwt. It is relentless out there 👀

It’s better to have a good understanding of red flags and know how to address them, than being clueless about them. So the war room has taught us a lot in this area.

I liked the tip concerning using a PS in your emails.

Also, some objection handling was pretty interesting.

That none of this matters but we have the potential to make a boatload of money. Doctors save lives, lawyers have to defend a criminal or put someone on trial. Engineers have to make sure stuff works and won't fall apart. Some of us just need to cold call and we can make that good money.
