What have you automated to make your sales life easier?

*title* we always hear about how automating repetitive tasks can make your job easier and free up time to do some real selling. For example, at my last job I created an estimating macro in excel so handle budget pricing faster than my selection software.


I started a new job and I am wondering what you sales savages have implemented to make your life easier.

This exactly^ Also some people like to make an excel sheet for notes and if that's you more power to you, but I find logging all my notes in Salesloft, or whatever CRM you use, is super helpful for me personally to not have my notes in a separate place when I go to make cold calls

I use excel macros or my streamdeck buttons for various tasks I do repetitively. But none are sales specific. Years ago I wrote macros in basic for Starbucks since every store they opened was the same products from me. So I would press a button enter the new address and new managers phone number and it would complete all the data entry stuff for me. And since back then Starbucks was opening a new store like every other day, it saved me hours every week.ย ย
