What have you done to give value to Mentors, and what have Mentees done to give back to you?

At some point or another we probably all have either had a Mentor and a Mentee.

AS an up and comer you want to listen to the advice of the older and wiser, but have to remember to make sure they get value out of giving you their time. What have you done to give back not only in a gratuitous way, but to make sure they get value out of the interaction and time they spend with you?

On the flip side, what have you seen Mentees do to give back to you as a Mentor? As you're going along giving someone guidance in the sales path what have you gotten out of it, and what has it opened your eyes to?

Sincerely,

Seth Davis

Honestly, the best thing that a mentee can do for me is succeed in their industry.

Some of my mentees have absolutely crushed it, and it gives me unending joy seeing them become leaders in their own right.

Also, paying it forward. Mentor others in the future.

AE’s - here’s a very client-centred way to gather information about ‘WHEN’ a decision needs to be made. Doing it this way will help you shorten sales cycles and build trust. Keep in mind - not every question I ask in this example is a perfect fit for every buyer, but should give you a good place

Do you think putting out the price in the first meeting where a demo is shown , is recommended? Would it add value or loosen the deal or interest?

How do you all handle a situation where a prospect has a contract approved and is ready for signature, but one of their family members just passed away? Want to be extremely sensitive to the situation...feel there's never a "right" time to reach out and never want to be salesy...
