What Have you learned so far?

I still feel like Im new in sales.with 4 years under my belt I do feel like I've learned some things and I have a ton to still work on. Some of my biggest take aways are:


  1. Stay organized and true to your process
  2. Activity is king.
  3. Avoid talking/telling too much and do your best to shut up.

1000% true. We say the deal isnโ€™t real until itโ€™s 13mo post-delivery. It never ceases to amaze me how some people can do a total 180ยฐ at the 6mo mark (and then ask for a full refund lol).ย

Three great points in your post. For me

Know the answer to your question before you ask the prospect (question tree). No matter what youโ€™re in control and lead the conversation.

Truly active listen. Listen to understand and give the prospect a solution to their need/pain, not just to respond and pitch your script.

Be stoic (almost). Donโ€™t get too high on wins, never get low on rejection.ย
