I have observed Open Source developers over many years. They are smart devs at companies , good programmer , bored to death at work but super passionate about making software - So they freely, on weekends, in spare time contributed to opensource communities. to learn and to build something new. This in-turn helps them become more confident at work.
What is it for the Sales People? Outside of the main job, do you have things you may want to do? that eventually fuels your growth within company? Do you sell something on the side? on weekends? ecommerce? online store? Marketing content?
