I feel like the ideal situation is just that you have a nice, clean office that makes for a fine natural backdrop.
I feel like subconsciously, it makes me wonder โwhat are they hiding?โ with a virtual background.

An approach I've tried lately is using the inside of the prospects company's office when I have conversations with them. It usually gets a chuckle and I think they appreciate the little attention to detail.

I just have the original and I think a lot of backgrounds are more distracting.
I try to have minimal distractions.ย My home is cute AF so I know they'd be looking ๐
If you have a nice, clean space in the background, definitely natural. If you live in a messy shanty shack, put on a virtual background to trick everyone into thinking you're professional.ย
virtual seems a little gamer-ish to me
