What is your go to drink at happy hour with coworkers? Does it change when you are with clients?

Curious as to what everyone's go to is at the bar after a long week of closing deals...for me its typically an Old Fashioned when I am out with my sales team.

When I am out with clients I stick to beer. Do you switch up what is in your glass when you're with clients vs coworkers? Or are you still ordering a Sex on the Beach regardless of the company?

I don't drink with coworkers or clients. Basically just water to keep my mind sharp.ย

I love an old fashion if we are doing a nice steak dinner with customers or I'll do straight bourbon depending on the selection.ย

Depends on the outing. Dinner? Wine. Party? I will hold one gin and tonic with a lime. The first one real, additional water and tonic with a lime. Sociable but smart. ๐ŸฆŠ

I'll go for a classic gin and tonic, maybe a beer. Whatever the client is drinking I'll get something similar

That is a major key "whatever the client is drinking" I always order my drink after them because if they are getting a coke I will either do the same or stick to water.

Depends on how I'm feeling! I like to mirror the client's energy so if they're ordering tequila, so am I. They're ordering a light beer? Coors Light it is for me. Wine? Pour me a nice Cab.

Same for coworkers, I just like to be on the same plane as the people I'm drinking with.

I'm the opposite actually. Beers with co-workers, but if I'm out with clients and they get cocktails I'll match that with some bourbon. With clients I'll typically just mimic whatever they're ordering from a beer/wine/spirit perspectiveย

If it with clients I stick to wine or beer but with coworkers I always go with a titos and soda with lime.ย
