I have no affiliation to them, but for big prospects I have started sending them a Thnks the day before the meeting (typically like a Starbucks coffee or lunch gift) with an attached note that I am looking forward to the meeting the next day. It's been well-received so far and I feel puts them in a better mood going into the meeting for relatively low cost (I use about $300 worth of Thnks per month).

No need to get homicidal, @softserve... showing up at their kids school during pick up is just as effective.

I use calendly for booking meetings and have an auto message 1 day and hour before. Works fine for me.

Great question softserve! I find if the prospect has not clicked accept on my calendar invite (and you already know I'm ending my calls by saying if you could hit yes on that invite so I know you got it that would be much appreciated) I will send an email the day of (Friendly reminder in the subject line. Body just says "Looking forward to talking at *time* ... here's the zoom link) and if they have accepted it I won't send the friendly reminder but if they don't hop on in the first 5 minutes I will give them a ring. Had that happen the other day and the prospect goes oh shit yea that's right now? My bad. Let me grab my COO and bring him on the call. Ended up being my best meeting on the new project and I'm praying it will close so I can celebrate on the win wire and in my paycheck.
