I hate the moment you’ve played all your moves and have to sit, wait and hope that your champion pulls through and then having to chase to them down for an update.

Same here. I hate champion sales in general...

The champion sales piece feels like it really only matters when I am at the DM level. Showing all your cards at any other level tends to not end in the best result in my experience.

Chasing down the IO after everything has been agree to and its in "legal/Procurement" hell.  There isn't a ton you can do to create urgency, its the WORST.

Been here so many times, this is by far my least favorite part because it is out of your control in each scenario.

Whenever the sales cycle is out of my control. I LOVE demoing, enjoy negotiating, and of course, closing is the best. What sucks is when you are competing against 5 additional vendors and you get to run one demo then they tell you whether you've won. Or even worse, RFPs.

It used to be the admin....but then Scratchpad changed my life.

I just hate the hand off now.

Especially given the relationship I build with my prospects, they want me to be involved post sale

The hand off can be tough for sure! So crucial to have those important details (DM, pain points, etc.).

Mine would be when the prospect is evaluating 3-4 other vendors and gets your product/software mixed up with another, and then goes with the competitor before following up with you to confirm.
