Its no one size fits all for me. I prefer combination of phone + zoom and sometimes in person as well.

Definitely this.

For involved calls, I have to say I like being able to see them on Teams/Zoom/whatever. In-person is always preferable but often tough.

Though our biggest growth region is Australia so I'm definitely pushing for some face time there :)

A mix of online and in person. Many are still uncomfortable with onsite meetings, including myself.

I work remotely in another country so for me, it's been the phones forever

Totally combination. Working big deals without meeting in person (in my industry) is near impossible.

Whatever works.  I love to meet in person when possible, but phone + online meetings are filling in some gaps, and I use those methods anyway.  Some meetings can't wait for everyone to get together in person either.

In person for sure, but we haven’t had a good chance to do that lately 😞

I prefer email trail, but phone is always fatser. Then send a recap of the call. I do this to keep track of deals all the deals also.

Phone first and if they like the solution we move it to zoom and bring in the team to close the deal. If they are local, I’ll try to get over to their place for a visit, but only if it’s a 5-6 figure opp.

my product is pretty complicated and can get technical fast. i’d rather hash it out in a 15 min phone call before the discovery to weed out those that don’t need it than to go back and forth for weeks on end over email.
that said - in an ideal world i could quickly describe it via email. that’s just not my reality since our product is multi-faceted and can be customized in a lot of ways.

In person is the absolute the best, but we are mainly using Zoom and Google Meet. Only bad thing about google meet is you can’t see the person you are talking to while screen sharing.

I prefer over the phone but that's only if they actually pick-up. It has been a pain to connect with people these days in my patch.

We were a zoom house before COVID and will continue to be after. Its the most efficent way for us rn

in person is always best, but not always possible

Hand to hand combat is pretty fun.  If I win I get the signature.  If the prospect wins they get a fat discount and tickets to the game.  Two people enter, one person leaves...

Phone, but always with an email follow up to avoid that he said she said. After this lockdown period, I don’t think in person is needed as much as we all would like it to be — I think the decision makers also took note.

Phone. I like in person but we service nationally so it’s hard to meet and I hate zoom. I use zoom daily but it’s lame.
