What kind of car do you drive?

I'm in my mid 20's and I drive an 06 Honda CRV. A couple years ago, I traded my neighbor who's like a second mom to me for my 2011 Jaguar XF plus some money. The CRV was a more practical car for my outdoorsy lifestyle, and my neighbor was ready for an upgrade.

The CRV is my main driver, but I have three other cars. Two of them I rent out for some side cash because I can't help the hustle. They're all a newer year than my CRV but not as low mileage. My dream car is a Tesla and a Tacoma. While I could technically afford one, it wouldn't be a wise use of my cash.

What kind of car do you drive?

Had my pickup for 8 years now.  I'll drive it until the wheels fall off.  In fact, my dream is to one day hand it down to my son when he's old enough to drive.  He just turned 3 on Monday haha.

My first car was the car my parents drove to the hospital in to deliver me!

They replaced the battery after years of sitting in the driveway & stuck a single bow on it when I turned 16

Car turns 30 next year, we've still got it lol

I have a 2020 Crosstrek that I have not washed once since I picked it up from the dealer. Gets muddy, stays muddy--let the rain wash her off.

I do have aspirations of something refined one day, but I'll wait until my 50s to get the 930 or a 90s Defender. At that point, I will be able to afford the marked-up repair bills.

Til I get my new truck (soon hopefully), a Honda Civic. When I had a job for company HQed in downtown, it was my commuter car. But not ideal for a 6'4" human.

Can't want to own a truck again!

VW Golf. It’s nothing flashy but I love my car. It’s manual with a 5 cylinder 2.5L engine and it’s the last model to have been actually produced in Germany just before they moved to the MQB platform.

I LOVE MY HONDA CIVIC.

I used to trick out my cars, but living in NYC cured me of that habit. The roads here are worse than most developing countries. That, and everything is street parking.

My wife totaled our beloved 2003 Toyota Matrix last year (not a serious accident, it just didn't take much to total it!). Because of remote work, we lived off one car for 9 months and loved it! Saved a bunch of money, carpooled a lot, and enjoyed the simple life.

Got a cheap hand-me-down from my cousin a couple months ago, but we still try to minimize our car use overall.

07 Infiniti M35, nice enough car and good technology. has bluetooth, navigation, heated/cooled seats, dual climate control, lane departure warning system, adaptive cruise control.

I can definitely afford something better but no point in paying for a new car imo.

Gotta love that German engineering! Mine’s got the sport suspension so you feel the bumps more, but other than that it’s a smooth ride.
