What kind of compensation do Tier 1 and Tier 2 Technology Services Sales Professionals make these days?

Tier 1 - Accenture, Capgemini, Deloitte etc.

Tier 2 - Infosys, Wipro, HCL and other Indian Origin as well as European headquartered firms?

Is it fair to say these companies try to cap the compensation?

I think it really depends on how successful you are, what market you serve, and if it's more reliant on base salary or sales commish. Most people I interview are expecting in the 120k-180k range from those types of companies.
