What luxuries are "worth it"?

What's something you've bought (product or service) that's clearly a luxury but totally worth it? That is, you don't actually need it and you could do without it but the value you get from it is worth paying some premium price.

Obviously this will differ for everyone but curious to get opinions out there. Could be anything form weekly massages to fancy watches to sports cars. No shame here!

For me it would be Instacart, personal trainer, and guac at Chipotle

Botox. Sometimes a pretty face opens doors and I will embrace that to offset some of the bs sexism that comes along with being a woman in sales

Best luxury: high quality meat.

once you buy the 21 day dry aged ribeye from a great butcher for $35/lb, you'll never buy the $10 lb supermarket meat again.

still way cheaper than a restaurant!

A fantastic huge wireless speaker so my roomates can't hear me cry over the music when a prospect never opens my highly personalized email

A double sided velvet duvet

A temperpedic pillow

A iphone 12max 500gb to keep all my nudes, sf reports, & make fire dials from.

a desk hot plate specifically to keep the morning joe at 206 degrees ferenheit

A Tibetan singing bowl tuned to the root C note made on a full moon night straight from monks in tibet, this thing sings for like 2 minutes after a light tap and is super relaxing to gong after an email from management that makes you want to hurl yourself into the sun

3 monitors and a standing table for the 1 hour a day you end up standing and power housing those dials, it's on point. and it looks bad as shit when the babes roll through, like yeah. I'm underappreciated. whatup?

a fatass dope ass crystal collection to distract me from the fact that a pip is always on the horizon, double-terminated Lemurians from around the world, pyrite cubes, spheres, figurines, quartz, amethyst, the naturally forming ones are dope as fuck and grounding

those orange blue light shades that keep my eyes from tearing from 12 hour days spent grinding on the laptop

acoustic air tube headphones to keep the headaches away when my roommates start complaining about my loud music

I personally love having just incredible sound for entertainment purposes, whether I’m listening to music, playing video games or watching a movie. I’m still in the process of getting a full Sonos system implemented, but so far it is MUCH better than just normal TV speakers haha

All encompassing ski pass. Ikon, Epic, Mountain Collective, specific mountain season pass, etc.. This obviously won't apply to all geographic regions, but it's worth it to keep you busy during the colder weather and way better value than day passes.

I used to go crazy on sneakers and footwear. Covid has rendered that rather pointless. Comfort is goated.

But honesty I splurge on slightly over the top underwear, socks, and other all-but-forgotten small things.
