I'm not book smart but I am street smart so that ruled out a lot of the traditional post college career paths. I also really love seeing something through and providing value so that makes it gratifying for me. I'm also really good at it.... looking at a champion girl scout cookie selling master over here so. I think I was born to do it honestly.ย
Also proving the childhood bullies wrong and being 10x more successful, happier, etc makes it all worthwhile too!ย

Itโs funny how most of the childhood bullies I know have not had successful careers and many not any type of career. Being kind to each other and doing the right things really pay off!

I was looking for something with more predictable hours(coming from working in the food industry for 16 years, no such thing as predictability) and the ability to control my income on a larger scale without having to just work overtime.ย

Looked at my soft skill job options and sales had the best growth and income opportunities. Also, the competitive and performance aspects of sales reminded me of of sports experience.
