Gotcha. Have less internal meetings is a big one, not everything needs to be a 30 minute call block. Encourage more PTO or mental health days is another!
Train me. Support me. Communicate clearly.
Be transparent! Transparency is a huge thing that keeps me happy at work (outside of money because you know we only see $$). Also autonomy - please don't micromanage me and look over my shoulder, that does not make me happy.
also agree with the encouraging PTO and mental health days. Have had some managers who shun that or don't practice what they preach and that never makes me feel good\.
Balance. Its a bit of a cop out answer but when I can work hard all day and then 5 minutes later I can be doing an activity I love (working out, playing with my dog, hiking, etc.)ย without commuting over an hour to do it. I'm happy............ money is also sick.
Yeah just money tbh. WFH already gives a lot of freedomย
