What makes your workplace dope?

Feeling nostalgic for pre-COVID days.. I wanna hear about your office/perks/events.

IGF: Overhead bluetooth speakers throughout the floor and a full bar/lounge with a travelling bar cart happy hour.

The location... we were within walking distance of 4 great breweries, most of the good restaurants in town, great cocktail bars, and a couple of grocery stores. Now that I'm working from home I have to drive if I want to get anywhere.

Heard that - our building shares an alley with 2 of the best watering holes around and is down the street from a brewery. Fridays after 5 were a s#itshow

I bought a bean bag chair just so I could feel more like a tech sales hipster at home. What a douche.

to establish my status of office clown, within a month of being at the company, I petitioned for an "Innovation Ball Pit" where we could go and sit to brainstorm sales plays"

I can wear yoga pants all day. I do wear the occasional dress to lift my spirits though.

The culture at my current office is the best culture I've ever experienced with any employer...

- Dope office in a modernized warehouse. Every employee has their own office. No cubicles. Several common areas with couches, tvs, pool, ping pong, shuffleboard. Office location is great, near many breweries and restaurants.

- Beer fridges and craft beer every Friday afternoon meeting and during sales celebrations.ย

- Literally no assholes on the sales team. I'm not sure how they accomplished this wizardry, but there are roughly 25 of us on the sales team and everyone gets along. Some people are cooler than others, but there's no drama, bickering, deal sniping, etc. And out of some kind of miracle, the Sales Directors are all very cool people. The president's number one rule here is "don't be an asshole."ย

- Great comp plan, incentives, we're often treated to food/dinners/prizes. Yearly sales retreat paid for by the company to places like Vegas.

I love my employer, and it would take a shit load of extra money to convince me to leave just because the culture is so great.
