What motivates you? A new challenge? or Money?
I was asked this by my VP when interviewing for my first sales job. I said "new challenges". I ended up getting the offer, but after he told me that he prefers to hear that money is a motivator for his reps. Back then, I thought it was "bad" to be motivated by money.
By no means am I saying that being motivated by a new challenge is a bad thing, but I want to make as much money as I can now, so that I can hopefully move to a less stressful role someday...But we all know that it will never happen due to my complete lack of any hard skills.
