Our SDR leads used to not be great. Like <10% qualified. We started having weekly syncs where the we brainstorm on strategy and approach, and stopped having them just blast out canned marketing spam. Now I know if my SDR gets me a meeting, it is with a targeted persona with a use case I told them to go hunt.ย

If SDRs and AEs work as a team, chances of conversions easily go up by two notches or more.
As my first quarter closed, the numbers were: 65% of my qualified leads got converted into revenue making deals. I don't know if it's a good number of not. but yeah.

the ICP needs to fit precisely in without any loopholes, only then the conversion % go up.

Strategy: Tell your SDR the market trend you notice, the personas that usually sign / give a Go ahead. Tell them to chase just those ones for now. A target audience is better than random mass blast.
