No marketing, mayo isn't an MQL
Daily Sales Stand-ups tend to be a waste of team especially if you already have other weekly meetings/team pipeline reviews.

Once had to listen to a revving car engine every Monday as part of a huddle. Big F on that one.

Never had em until my current gig. Hate em. Does not need to be daily. It’s very interrupting to my day.

We do them three days a week here, and we use them as a way to clear blockers in deal cycles, communicate updates from the ops side of the business, and touch on any other items.

If they are 5 minutes, that's fine, but they can go the full 30 minutes, too. The best practice here is to only spend as much time as your reps need, then get them back to their daily tasks. If they truly can't make it I have them drop a message with blockers/updates into the sales team slack.

Don't find them productive at all, they take up time that should be used selling.

Big yikes when I see one scheduled. We used to do them every other day. I slowly started to skip out on them. All it was was the manager asking what we had going on today and no one wanting to ask questions or talk. Total waste of time.

Weekly is great to hear about new things going on or get the approvals you need to move deals.

They are essential for team building exercises especially with the pandemic going on and reducing the time team mates have to interact with each other.

They are also useful for setting expectations and delegating information and news about the company.

If money and progress doesn’t get em, try the huddles but don’t let it interfere with your closers business.

Every comment written to discuss the positives of this weekly sounds just as bad as juatification towards office work these days.
