Money is the only motivation for me in this role - If I wanted to feel like I was changing the world and making a difference I'd be working for pennies in a nonprofit lol.
I don't think I dispense much of either, at work I tend to mind my own business and not focus on what other people are doing, unless I'm trying to learn from them.

Great point. Sales is key to any organization in terms of driving revenue, but I don't think anyone is expecting us to change the world with cold calling. That being said, the way you carry yourself can affect others and it sounds like you are doing the right thing by minding your own business and learning from others when the opportunity presents itself. Funny how much joy people can derive from teaching others!
