depends if it is a difficult one, sometimes it just makes the day more stressful.
I love difficult ones. I'll throw on my favorite movie or show, grab a beer, and sit on my couch doing puzzles for HOURS
True, just when you are trying to finish the borders and one is missing and you find it hours later under the sofa. Not a vibe. Fun though.
Oh yeah. To me, nothing is more frustrating than spending so long trying to find a specific piece, then giving up, moving on, and deciding to find it later, only to finish the puzzle and realize that you're missing that one piece you spent so much time looking for earlier...
Minecraft...
I don't get it. I have friends I'll play CoD with and they'll leave me at like 10pm to go play Minecraft. I tried to get into it but my eyes bug out just looking at all the pixilation...
Get some texture packs. I play with my little ones and my wife likes the "music" and will play just us from time to time.
Drink wine, play some survival Minecraft together.
She likes to build a house and garden etc. I'm more of the mine/explore type. So it works out.

That sounds like a pretty ideal family night! I'll have to look into texture packets. I feel like I'm missing out!
