Why would you want to erase your knowledge? That seems like a terrible choice to me

Yes. Unless a coconut fell on your head why would you want to start over?

Your knowledge base is the only asset you have as a rep. Building upon it and refining it are the best ways to improve in this profession. Don't wish away your gifts, but if they're not as shiny as you want them to be then you should work on improving them.

@CuriousFox -  My thought behind this post was that I sometimes feel overwhelmed by the amount different approaches to get to the same closure. I have learned the Sandler, Spin, SNAP, etc. techniques and what it boils down to is a headache. I feel like Chidi from The Good Place except instead of an ethical dilemma, I am battling contradiction of sales processes. It might sound crazy but maybe there is just too much noise around "what is the right way to sell", and I have been eating that shit up for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

So what you do is pick the best tidbits from each training and form your own process. All that matters in the end is that you close the deal. Now how you did it.

Caught up on the process, haven't focused on the goal. I totally agree!

I will deal with this how any salesperson would start drinking early. 😅

^this.

I find no one process or system works for every prospect. The key is forming a connection so you can find out what motivates them. Sometimes you'll have to even hit them with several methods or even wild ass tricks. This can be especially so if you have to help teach them to sell their team.

Slow down and try and find out what motivates them, what would make their life easier and make them look good, then go from there.

If you wiped all your sales knowledge, that would just make you marketing. Keep it and build.

I like this question because there are some managers that Give awful advice so a clean wipe would be great. However if you have been properly trained I think building on current process and methodology is best
