What's the best way to celebrate hitting and/or overshooting targets?

Interested in seeing how this gets celebrated in this community! I'm thinking both individual and team targets... for example, for smaller quotas i.e. monthly/quarterly I take my team out for dinner or let them choose something of equivalent value.


This year, the company has said if we do 200% they'll pay for the team to go to Iceland!

Our company does a recognition trip (like most).

Now, what do I do? Simple- generally a giant feast of sushi with a bottle of Dom. I tend to do this (or something similar) at the end of each quarter.

I can’t stress how important celebrating is as a sales rep. It’s a stressful job for me and my entire family due to the time commit, so my individual celebration ALWAYS includes them.

I would love going on a trip (on my terms).  Having time off to spend with my loved ones would be a breath of fresh air from being tied to sales.  I see my co-workers more than my own circle and I'd love that time back.

WOAH Iceland! That's insane- what a cool prize, that would definitely motivate me.


We do absolutely nothing at my company. They have promised dinners in the past but they never happen. I do like having choice though so always think its best to let the reps choose what they want in a certain price range or give them a few options

Yeah, super excited, and we're on track so far... 2 years ago when I was working for the Europe team we did a trip to Zurich after achieving something similar.
