The best thing I've learned is that I'm not alone. Sales today can be a lonely road filled with rejections. But this community feels like we're all out on the company terrace for a smoke break letting off steam.

I think a big reason for this is Bravado not letting us prospect on this platform. #glad

I just enjoy reading about everyone's experiences in the field. I've always known that all salespeople deal with shitty leads, ghosting, prospects lying, deals falling through at the last second etc but sometimes it can feel like I'm the only one. It's lonely in the game sometimes and unless you're in sales you can't understand the shit we have to deal with to make a buck so I enjoy having this community to speak candidly with.

Most people in here have a very positive outlook on this job and on life in general so on days where I'm feeling negative it's really helpful.

Call me what you want, just sign the damn contract
I just learned that RepVue is pretty legit. I'm on it now and it's pretty legit (not ideal for smaller companies though).

Learned I'm clearly in the wrong industry. Some people out here are making mad money

Sometimes I feel the same but also remember that many people here are in CA and specifically the Bay Area...one of the most expensive places to live in North America.

What's making bank to me in my mid sized city is barely enough for a decent apartment in some of these places...

For those wondering, it was about implementing a Joint Execution Plan.

Glad to hear you’re killing it @SalesPharaoh 🙌

depending on how approachable the hiring manager is, I would honestly ask for more specifics (ask them what are their top 3 targeted accounts for the upcoming quarter) then you're able to do some more research and actually show how this would apply to them, also once you can actually put a name to a prospect you are reaching out to; makes the research process waaaaay easier all while showing initiative to hopefully your new employer to show how you'd go after those accounts

This project provides too many variables in my opinion...why don't you start by making up your company and what you sell. That's a better brainstorm activity.
