Apologies if this has been covered / asked before. Is the point of the badges to have a shiny icon next to your name, can we turn them in for commission?

Because every platform has badges now! They make engaging and participating way more fun. I wouldn’t be wearing an Apple Watch or logging Strava workouts daily if I wasn’t getting badges lol
Not sure, but the social clout is real. I went up to 10 different girls at the bar this weekend and opened with "hey did you know I earned my Contributor badge on Bravado last week? Would love to buy you a drink." This didn't work with any of them and I only had 2 drinks poured on me. All good though. They will never understand.
I think they're working toward giving out commission for badges but they're not quite there yet.
I figured that's the direction they would go. Hopefully it doesn't lead to more spamming posts for points...
There is supposed to be a commission attached to each one once obtained. I haven't really paid attention to see if it has actually been awarded or not though.
Really? Never noticed the commission coming with the badges.
