I am SUPER self-deprecating.ย  Some of my former VP's have even called me on it, but I've never seen any of them build relationships as quickly with people as I consistently do!

Nice stuff! I think there is a fine line between being very self-deprecating and making things awkward as you verbally abuse yourself in front of others. Pretty much comes down to tone the majority of the time.ย 

When done right, self-deprecating humor and statements can actually make you seem MORE trustworthy!
