What's your favorite CRM?

Here's a list of what I've used so far, in order of favorite to least favorite:

Close

Salesforce

Hubspot

Highlevel

And why is your favorite your favorite? I love Close because I can see and make all my calls/emails/texts in one place, plus it's really easy to create different views.

And I hate Highlevel because its UI design looks horrible.

Salesforce but only because that's mostly what I've been exposed to. Hubspot doesn't feel like an adequate substitute for Salesforce as a CRM. Very limited experience using Microsoft Dynamics...

I always thought hubspot was something used in addition to salesforce...we have it merged with our salesforce and use it to track email openings etc...really useful for helping target interested prospects

You can use it that way as well but some orgs with less resources/budget sometimes opt to make Hubspot their primary CRM.

I think Salesforce is decent but it would take me forever to make and log a call. I never did find a good dialer to integrate with it. How would you make calls?

InGenious is a great one, if you haven't tried that already.  Point and click, auto logs and then you can add notes before saving.

We use ringDNA with salesforce. It’s honestly the best thing about our Salesforce setup.

track calls, texts, etc right through ringDNA and it updates salesforce. We spent a really long time trying to find a dialer that had everything we needed and ringDNA was the closest.

I've been messing around with HubSpot's CRM a lot more recently and I gotta say, I'm quite impressed with the improvements they've made even in the past year.

I wouldn't be surprised if HubSpot takes over a huge chunk of Salesforce's market share over the next 5 years.

Been using Hubspot for daily task management and outbound sequences. Vidyard is something we have been using as a both a direct tool to drive action/engagement and also as a broad learning tool to reduce "Meetings" internally.

yup. There are paid premium versions, but the free version still provides tracking, unlimited video recordings and chrome extension. Then you go into your settings in hubspot and sign into your vidyard account. When you create an email, you'll click insert>video and youll see your library of recorded videos.

It just feels more... natural now. I can't point to any specific features, it just seems like they have involved salespeople in the development now instead of trying to force a marketing tool onto salespeople.

I know that Hubspot devs and engineers work with teams (like ours) to run feedback and use-case sessions to grow their understanding of how organizations use the platform and adding features and functionality based on that feedback. That is the reason we stay, they listen and improve.

I never understood why anyone would try to use a tool other than Salesforce... obviously cost-savings is the benefit but why the hell would you trust your customer data and long-term conversational history in one of these small fish crm's that could fold at any given moment. maybe hubspot is the outlier because they've proven their value in their other product suites, but still - SFDC always seems like a reasonable investment with proven ROI.

Not the shit my company made up. “AI” my ass.

I got cold called by sales force once. I have no idea if it’s good or not but I for damned sure gave them the direct line to every ass in marketing who is responsible for the shitshow we currently have going on. Yes. If you can figure out who I am and cold call me with better CRM, I will definitely give you the same courtesy 😂

Has to be Salesforce at #1 here. Tried and true system, and only improving in terms of their additional capabilities (Korn Ferry Sell integration, CPQ compatibility, Salesforce Einstein, etc.)

If your business has yet to make the move from Netsuite or similar (Netsuite still has a special place in my heart I swear...), it's time to bring it up to your ops or implementation team.

They will thank you in the long run, I swear on it.

I've used Salesforce, Zoho, Hubspot, Pipedrive and now Microsoft Dynamics in my career. At the end of the day, I'd use any of them, as using a solid sales methodology is more important than crm choice and most crms can be configured to suit most sales methodologies.

That said, I've awarded each crm I've used in my career below....

Best = Salesforce

Value for money = Zoho

Quickest to implement and get sales people using it effectively = Pipedrive

It does the job but UI pretty painful = MD

Mutton dressed as lamb = Hubspot

Pipedrive for sure. The company I work for uses Hubspot, but I think it sucks, so I have my own pipedrive account where I manage everything. The added benefit is if I decide to leave I don't have to worry about all my CRM data, since I have my own.

Also, Salesforce was great in the beginning but have now become a clunky monster.

Hubspot is great. Salesforce is only as good as your admin. Ever used SAP crm 360? That might be the worst crm on the planet.

I used Hubspot in 2018 so I'm a fair way out of touch about Hubspot's current feature set. I remember it being 60% there on the sales side and more advanced on the marketing. As its built for inbound marketing it just seemed restrictive back in the day. Whereas Zoho, at the same time, could accommodate much more customisation.

Fair point about SF as good as admin, that point is true for any system as well I feel.

Have never used SAP CRM 360 and just on that "vacuum-cleaner model" name itself I am happy to avoid haha

thats fair about CRM admins. SAP also has CRM fiori, also terrible.

Used the following, and here are personal pros+cons of each:

SFDC
pro = ease of use + automation
con = no sequence feature

Apollo
pro = prospect a contact on SalesNav -> enroll in sequence with 2 clicks
con = really bad data in their existing database (scrape linkedin)

HubSpot
pro = workflow automation + sequences
con = UX (contacts + deals will revert back out to broader views)

I’ve only used Hubspot and Salesforce and both have their strengths however Salesforce is definitely the standard. When it comes to reporting, tracking deals, plugins, etc...Salesforce is the way to go.

Hubspot is good for startups that target startups and SMB’s because it’s a combo of CRM plus marketing and the UI is easy enough to navigate and run campaigns but once you you get to larger enterprise deals, it gets messy

Tough call there as SFDC and Hubspot tend to be the leaders when it comes to a system of record. After being introduced to tools like Outreach.io, Groove, and the sales engagement space It was a night and day difference. From an execution standpoint, doing activity in either SFDC/Hubspot was super manual, lacked visibility to know if my content was relevant and didn't help me close more deals faster. OP being in the SDR space, I imagine UX, automation and an ability to do the most important actions at the best time is a priority, especially at scale if you're selling tech and activity volume is key.  Peep them SEP's brih brih

When I was using Salesforce I was expected to make 60+ dials a day on top of running demos (full cycle), and I estimate it was taking me half an hour a day just to dial the numbers and then log the calls. We eventually switched to Close, which saved me tons of time, but the admin wasn't such a fan.
