What’s your worst product demo story?

I had a prospect who was on a Google Meet with me (with video on) pick up his laptop and go to the bathroom to take a shit.
It was horrible haha. I moved my laptop screen so I couldn’t see it and we continued to talk and he gave me his card while he was using the toilet.

I ask myself this question every day.
Got assigned to an enterprise AE with the worst nervous vocal tremor I’ve ever heard. At first I thought it was just how he spoke, but then I realized he was shaking a little and would repeatedly talk over the customer/rush to fill silence. I wanted to drive to his house and shove a xan down his throat.
Never worked his patch again after two meetings that should’ve converted were bombed by him. I had 4 other AEs to cover thankfully.

That's kind of sad. Someone should have helped coach him to get over that.
I had a customer join a demo meeting with his video upside down last week. He couldn’t figure out how to change it. Most distracted I’ve been on a demo as I had to focus on not laughing 😂
I would've turned my camera off. For me the cake topper was when I had finished my demo and we started to go over pricing, next steps, exec sponsors etc my prospect goes oh yea we are building the exact same thing and wanted to see how y'all built it so we can replicate it. Had to tell our legal team. It was a blast.
That sucks... But at least he was straight up with you? Lol
My old boss (fired for reasons similar to this) used to screen share demos and the only tabs he had open where youtube & fantasy football. One day a prospect jokingly called out that he wasn't doing any work...turns out for a whole year he literally just did fantasy football and watched videos...working your ass off for someone doing that ay!
