What scam is the worst of them all?

Down week, and I have been getting more and more of these calls as we lead up to the end of the year.

My least favorite has to be the rent-to-own homes folks. They are on a hardened script and will not answer your questions unless you just talk over them for a few minutes. Besides, I own a home, and have never considered one of these "programs". The extended car warranty people were fun for a while, but they stopped biting on my fake information I'd give them and started hanging up.

So, what's your least favorite, and do you like to interact with them?

I like the ones that call me and tell me that US Border Services found my illegal material and they’re coming to get me. I’m in fucking Canada. But sure, come arrest me, baby. Just make putting on the handcuffs hot, because it’s been a cold winter. 🚨

That's a thing? I've gotten the "your Social Security has been suspended" like that's some kind of real threat. And some mumbo jumbo about the FBI, but not sure how that was going to factor in to some fabricated "case number" they were threatening me with.

I've gotten that one, I told them PLEASE cancel my SS#!! Then I won't have to be extorted for the federal Ponzi Scheme. SS is the exact same financial model Bernie Madoff used with one important difference........Bernie's investors gave voluntarily out of greed; the federal government's investors get no such choice. Democrats........ideas so good, they have to be MANDATORY!

Which I don't have.

I haven't interacted with any of these recently. Maybe that's something I can do during this dead week.

The other one I get is poorly set up and all I get is a snippet: "... a complimentary stay..." and I have no idea where or what.

They are all just fantastic….I really enjoy the student loan scams because I don’t have any and can play along for a while. The other fun one is the back owes taxes and that the police are coming to arrest me.
