Formula 1 Racing because the driver’s skills are one thing but if you're driving a product (race car) that just can't compete, you're not likely to close too many deals. Gotta rely on your engineering team to build a good product.

Also, your biggest competitor is your teammate. You want to make sure you win against the person driving the same car / selling the same product.

Basketball because a lot of players are being valued on their "potential" so I see this is more of how players market sell themselves. For example look and Ball brothers if their father didn't heavily market and sell them they wouldn't be who they are not get 1/4 of the media attention they have.
So a lot depends on how they sell themselves to the public more than the actual skill.

personally, I have always thought enterprise sales is like football and sales is the QB. sales calls the plays & coordinates the team (presales, services, engineering, etc..
Personally I think any individual sport is most like sales cause it's very self motivated and number oriented like marathon running, triathlons, etc etc
