For a field dominated by number crunching, I've found that many salespeople are horrible at math. Hence the question. :)
7+8 | Carry the 1 | 3+4 = 75
Ah, you must have learned this before 'new math' hit the schools.
New Math makes my head spin! I missed it by a healthy gap.

8+7 =15, carry the 1 and 4+2+1=7ย

It's the universe telling you to just answer the damn Q, son!
Add the 8 and 7 first bring down the 5 then carry the 1. Then add the 2 and 4 then add the 1 that is being carried. This will bring you to your final answer.ย
