What's your go-to spot to take clients when trying to close a deal!?

I don't typically go for a "close" at a restaurant. Normally use dinner meetings to build rapport on things outside of work. For meals like that, can't go wrong with the second best steakhouse in the area. I say second best, because they are typically the "louder environment" compared to the number 1 steakhouse in the area.

Flashback. 2009. I’m 25 and excited to spend company money, in Detroit taking my biggest prospect to dinner. We have 4-5 million riding on this deal. I give him an exhaustive list of restaurants that are super highly rated. He says he doesn’t like any of them and asks to meet at Panera. Signs a contract at dinner. Still the saddest win ever.
