I'm not going to do that, but to be fair I didn't specify if it had to be good advice.

I've never been in a sales role where they've let someone finish out their notice period. This is blowing my mind.ย

Counter offers went back and forth for a bit, so that was part of it and I probably won't

Ask managers if there's anything you can do to help tie up loose ends/prepare your role for the next person.

If not, you're ok to laze about...just don't be obvious about it.

Get your things together including any personal effects.ย

Maybe write advice or make cheat sheets to help the next rep after you.ย

Spend time downloading your personal IP. Write down your hacks to discovering leads in the database, how to prospect via LinkedIn in your territory, etc. The karma that comes back from that has proven to be very helpful in my experience.

Oh, and spend time being candid and honest with leadership. Tell them more about how they can improve, but not in a way that is akin to dripping gasoline behind you before lighting a match on the way out. They want to improve, and if you have good standing with leadership, they are likely to listen.

I'm sharing that stuff with other reps! I've been trying to share ways to improve but it gets mixed reception. As a sales person, I highlight problems and then move to solutions. That seems to come of as just shitting on things without a solution when I have those conversations internally....
