What to include in a handover doc for colleagues?

I've handed in my 1 months' notice (UK), and am about to be released on gardening leave. My opportunities and accounts will be distributed to other members of the team, so my question is what would you as my teammate, want to receive in terms of info about the account you have now picked up, especially if there is a potential deal to be done with that account?

I of course have my own experiences and ideas of what to include, but wanted to make sure I'm being as good to my (soon to be ex-)teammates as I can be.

Answers can just be a bullet point if easier! :)

I would want the state of the business so to speak on each account so the prospects don't get the impression there's weak communication within our company.ย

I'd add in personality types, laggard, champion etc.

Clear information on what deals look really good and what don't. For the ones that look good it might make sense to provide a good warm handoff from you to the next seller.ย

Best of luck in whatever is next for you!

I'd love to do a warm handoff but my org wont let me! Such a shame :(

Thanks for your points :)

Really? That's odd, any particular reasons why?

What's gardening leave?

What the others have contributed is excellent. I would add anything that's been a challenge with the accounts because of your side of things (software issue, bad support, etc). This way those people don't get exploded on randomly when something goes wrong.

Essentially, i've handed in my 30 day notice and as I'm going to a direct competitor, my current org would rather I not have access to their CRM, sales enablement materials, VPN etc. So as they are legally required to keep me on the books and pay me for the next 30 days, they don't want me working.

Its amazing. I have all of June off, paid.

And thanks for your suggestions, I agree about the challenges part for sure!

That sounds beautiful. Enjoy it, exercise, watch some sports, read. I'm jealous.
