What to write in a cover letter?

I am interested in joining a company in the robotics/logistics automation sector as an account executive. While they do not currently have an open position, I identified the regional leader and sent him a Loom video.

He asked me for my resumรฉ and cover letter.

Since I never had to write a cover letter before, what do sales leaders typically want to see in one?

Use ChatGPT and throw in your resume plus the job description. Then re-write what it gives you so it's accurate and sounds human.

Before all of that, please use the Search Bar and see what has been said abut this.

this but ask it to use keywords from the job description if a robot is the one reading it might as well have a robot write it lol

I hear you, but this guy has never done one so he needs some kind of starting off point and I think itโ€™s better to have one thatโ€™s personalized.

With Jefe on this one.
Use ChatGPT or Google's AI. Mix and match the content + edit + rewrite - Make it human. Add prompts like "Must sound impressive" OR "Add relevant keywords" and let the AI know whom you are writing it for and let it do the job before you do the job.
Even if you don't like the options; You'll certainly get a strong starting point.

There are tons of resources online for writing cover letters.

The basics though are to do an intro paragraph, provide 3-4 bullets covering your best accomplishments and/or reasons youโ€™re great, followed by a final paragraph restating that youโ€™re great and they should at least talk to you.

There you go. Good luck.

Always begin by addressing the person, by name and title, who won't be reading it. Then, blow it off.

shit im only in my early 30s and i haven't had to write a cover letter for like 8 years!

i think its just suppose to be a summary of why you are looking to get into the space/work for that company.
