What tools are you given to vet or find leads to prospect, and if you aren't given any how are you creating your own success?

I am given none, I have been reading different books on how to better prospect develop new business from scratch in small and medium SaaS.

I have salesforce lightning which is slower than my grandma, and takes around 3 minutes to input 1 activity for KPI recording.

My goal is to find the best way to prospect and vet leads without paying for any additional service like zoom info, D&B hoovers, etc. in this day and age that maybe the fastest route to find the DM, get their contact info, input into cadence until I can set first meeting, while gathering info from influencers along the way.

ANY input is helpful as what I am doing the last year during covid has gotten me nowhere, luckily for networking and previous relationships I am still killing my quota.

Zoominfo and LinkedIn. G2 is also helpful for SaaS

Zoominfo and Linkedin Sales Nav are a killer combination.
You could add outreach to that list for automation

We use salesloft, but I've used Outreach and they're both great!

Tough to do without paying for something. I had SalesLoft, but I used seamless.ai and LinkedIn for most of my outreach. Seamless.ai can be cheap, but you get what you pay for

I agree, I have always had some sort of "help" even if it was just an easy way to track cadence activity. I am honestly thinking of finding another job because I feel like they aren't willing to give me the tools to succeed.

If you are not confident in what you are doing, your prospect wont be confident in your product.
