What was your first car?

One thing that hasn’t failed to fascinate me is how the minutiae of our life influences us. So much that I had a fleeting shower thought earlier; “Wow, I’m a lot like my first car.”

My first car was a 1979 Chevy Malibu Sedan that my dad and I partially restored with the master cylinder and brakes/tires etc. (the engine did end up taking a shit on the highway one morning on the way to school, but I digress). Like me it wasn’t much to look at, but it was a workhorse and had some weird charm to it, along with being an absolute tank.

How bout it, savages? What was y’all’s first car?

'92 Nissan Sentra.  Tiny 2 door car with no hubcaps, fabric falling off the ceiling, and cigarette holes in the seats.  But I loved that car.  I'm 6'5 so I barely fit in it haha
