I remember during Covid the video that went around with the lawyer stuck as a cat avatar.  No doubt the world is a weird place right now, but I'm curious... has anyone else run into this?  What would you do?

I’m with you guys. A deal is a deal. If they are in a buying cycle, and the executive sponsor has green lit some budget it’s game on.

On a side note… I’ve done a sales call in my inflatable T-Rex suit. Granted it was Halloween, but sometimes sales is just too serious.

I have 3 times had meetings on Halloween that I was in costume for. Got 2/3 deals and the other one had nothing to do with the costume.

If I couldn't drink a beer with you, you probably won't do business with me so you get the pure Filth day in and day out and I go all out for anything that requires dressing the part.

In reality, If I've put aside this 30 mins, after doing my research, preparing my presentation, etc., and depending on what I've got scheduled next, there's a good chance I'm not going to get much done with the remainder of my time if I call it off early. Discovery and qualification as normal and have a bit of fun to keep it positive. Might go somewhere, might be bullshit. Either way, no point letting it ruin your day.
