What would you do? Good culture, product-market fit/tech, growth potential - questionable manager, no equity, low pay

This about sums up the current gig. Been hear two years. AE. Started as a BDR. Private/bootstrapped/established company. Comp plans/opportunities I've started discussing with recruiters are 2x+ my current comp plan (+ offer equity) - and seem like really solid opportunities - but if I stick around at the current shop, I have a clear/expeditious path to mgmt. (and/or will end up working for a certain faang).

Mgr. and I aren't super chill (but mgr. I had before the current one was amazing). Any advice from some of the more seasoned savages out there? I've worked in/for startups before (non-sales roles), but this is my first foray/has been my first two years in true b2b/enterprise tech sales.

How important is the leadership path to you, cause right now that seems to be the only thing giving you pause - especially with offers at 2x what your current pay is?

Should you choose to move on to greener pastures,   I will warn you though, be careful of the OTE, especially with fancy startup SaaS shops who build their compensation plans like carnival games.  Ask how many reps are hitting OTE (by volume and %), ask to see some data to support the claims in the companies your interviewing with (even a dashboard with actual numbers and names blurred out).

Stellar feedback; thank you! 🙏 Will take to heart/dig into the actual OTE data throughout the process. Leadership path is super important to me, though I also think I can get on that track wherever I go (but cognizant I'm restarting that timer if I jump ship).

From what you've described it sounds like leadership would be on the table no matter where you go, just make sure you're clear with your expectations at the start up too.

I'd go with the money...

Also - Feedback for the powers that be - I have OCD and the fact that I can’t edit my original post (‘hear’?!?!?🙃) bothers me.
