What would you want to know from a company you’re joining?

Friends,

After a rollercoaster of a job search, I have thankfully gotten a verbal offer for a startup that looks very promising!
I've taken it upon myself to reach out to the reps there to ask about their experience with the company. For some context all I really know is, the US reps for this scope are killing it, while the Canadians (my territory) are not.

What questions would you ask to a team you're soon to join?

Congrats dude! I would like to know:

What does ramping/onboarding look like? Is it different then US to Canada?

Speak with your supervisor to discuss what success looks like?

Congrats for the new role!
I would be interested to know: Are the quota same in both the geographies? How much is the Canadian market missing by? Why they feel this is happening? Any specific industry/location performing well in the USA to compare with Canadian market? Actions taken to correct?

First off - congrats!

Second - what I would be asking…

Is the success/failure based on territory characteristics or some other factor(s), and why? Are there regulatory issues, market anomalies, better reps, reps fingers freezing due to the arctic cold?

What did the top performer do to ramping? What other best practices can you emulate?

There’s a lot of “sales101” stuff I could spout off, but the reality is you may be better off ignorant for now. Do your own thing without knowing what everyone else has done. Ignorance can be bliss here.
