Whats your thoughts on running 100% Automated Email only Persona campaigns on "Lesser focused on" Countries in your patch?

Hey everyone, we just got new segmentation and territory for the new quarter (August to October) and I know where my focus areas are but there are a few countries where there are a large amount of people (In my case Sri Lanka) but we generally haven't deployed any resources or time on that country.


Has anyone has experience with building out an automated email only campaign on these countries where you can auto sequence them regularly and just let it run in the background for the potential for passive meetings? Or is it best just to not focus any resources there at all?

If the choice is automation or nothing at all go with automation. If it doesn't work at all you'll get the same results. But, if it results in just one deal closed it was worth your time.

This is a good idea. But you’ll need huge lists to see passive results. Make sure you’ve got enough volume in targets to let a back burner approach simmer out some results for you.

If it frees up time to focus on healthier opportunities...automate the shit out of it. 

Beta test, see how the automation program works and if it drums up anything. If it does, go back and optimize it.

It depends on how much you expect out of that territory. If there’s no business there I’d at least try a campaign or two and see what pops up. Based on those results I’d either shut it down or double down.

For all you mail mergers out there, do you see more success emailing one DM or all DMs on a custom thread? I've noticed that putting all relevant DMs on one campaign that is 100% customized to their business has a much higher response rate (28% meeting sucess)
