Breaking the cold/formal/distant format and style of email by using WhatsApp- your DM is keen to loosening up giving you much more room to build chemistry a level of trust and openness. If handled with care and tact - it's a great way to close. ๐ก

Depends if you have connected with them and spoke to them elsewhere already. Cold whatsapp, nahย
Usually I'll send a quick text if I go to VM, and if they respond via text based on the response I'll use it to communicate. This is typically after an initial meeting or they've shown real interest though.ย
Absolutely, if there is already a "connection" there and i use that term as in relationship established not touch point, then all forms of communication are in play. Deep in the sales cycle all bets are off and im sending over strip a grams lol

Whatsapp adds some personal aspect to it which I think works in our favor so I do it
I'll use whatever is the best way to get a hold of them once we've established a relationship.ย If that's it, I guess I'll download the app.
Outside of Phone, Email and LinkedIn. If they havent used that specific method of communication with me (ie. Text, WhatsApp, IG DM) I'm not using it to communicate with them.ย
However, @poweredbycaffeineย has a point, if they committed to something and they haven't followed through or communicated a decision to me.... it's a full Land, Air, and Sea approach. I will call your mother to get your cell number if I have to.ย
