When did your hairline start to recede? and do you blame your sales job for it? lol

Notice how my question assumes that your hairline already started to recede?

Because I bet most of us are in the same boat ( if not, y'all are liars or you know something I don't so please help).

Anws,

I only started to take note of this recently, so I've been popping Biotin vitamins like candy.

But do I think my sales job has something to do with it?

one thousand percent.

Wbu though?

Mine started when I was 20. Testosterone plays a massive factor in hair loss. Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) is the culprit.

Don't knock the HIMS and Keeps solutions. If you haven't tried them, they do wonders.

They worked great for me and then after about a year the side affects became REAL ... so I had to cut that shit out unfortunately. Gonna rock the chrome dome soon enough.

All the kind that a man wouldn’t want, to put it simply. The ones they say aren’t common yet every one happened to me.

As a lady, I don't have this issue. However, I bought my man some PRP treatments for hair loss and it definitely helped!

Right now you're asking, "WTF is that?!?"

It's where they draw your blood, spin it, extract the platelets and inject it back into your scalp to stimulate hair growth. This is a regular therapy for soft tissue damage and someone repurposed the technology for hair loss. You need to do one treatment a month for three months, then every six months after that. Prices range from $250 - 500 per treatment.

My hair started thinning on the front about 3-4 years ago, beard and hair are also starting to go grey fast. Definitely sales-related.

Started around 25 and I blame my dad and sales. I also refuse to use any product or vitamin for it and I’d rather shave it bald but my wife won’t let me.

Around 22 my barber told me I was thinning up top, preceding my sales career... and I shaved everything off at 26 (Summer 2020), probably accelerated by lockdown stress

Mine had been receding for some time but I'm applying the main ingredient in rogaine and other similar products and it's crawling back :D

And yes, I dislike very much having a receding hairline and would continue to try this if continues to work hahahahahah The SHAAAAAME!!!!

28 and my hair is definitely thinning. I’ve always had thick hair so I’m going to have to get used to my hair not being the crown it used to.
I have witnessed many friends getting real depressed when losing their mane. I’m just going to roll with it. Its mostly genetic anyways and from what I’ve gathered most treatments have some iffy side effects.

The most important thing to remember is that confidence makes you attractive, and confidence doesn’t depend on your hair. To all you balding kings out there, you are beautiful with your dome of chrome!

Probably when I was 18, but only really noticed when I was 24. Been going full chrome-dome ever since.

Ugh I'm a woman and I started losing a lot of hair around 34 years old, a year into sales. I wouldn't say it's receded, but I think I've lost about 1/4-1/3 of it.

When I was like 15 years old. Before that, when I was 9, a hairstylist grabbed my head and said that she noticed some receding hairline and that it would show soon. Grandpa looks like Benjamin Franklin since he was four, so I was definitely scared growing up. I ended up getting that hairline mark as a teenager and my hair has looked thin at the front for years now, but still going strong, nowhere near the Benjamin Franklin curse that runs in my family. I am a mature man now, and perhaps something will hit when I become 40?

Nope, blame genetics... Stress can be a factor but unlikely to be the primary vector... Sales can be stressful but that's the game. Dont blame the game..

No receding here. I know my head has grown though making it appear as such.
