When do you actually start your work day?

not like oh I check emails for 15 mins and bounce to the gym. When do you (generally) actually start your work day?

If anyone has experimented and found a time to be particularly perfect let me know. 

I ask since I have full flexibility and it seems like 8 AM is a great start for me BUT that means I get up at 5 so I can meditate and do a full gym+ sauna sesh before work. yes I'm a 👸

I mean, I'm in the office between 8:30-9 every day but the real work doesn't start until I've had my daily dose of memes and WR engagement...so maybe like 10am.

I’m fully awake by 8 usually, but there are many times I have a very early meeting, so start super early. So really somewhere between 7-8 average.

I'm in the office between 5:45-6:00 every morning. I get more accomplished between 6am and 8:30am than I do the rest of the day.

1. I usually shut down between 5:00-5:30 and once I shut down, I'm offline until the next morning.
2. I'm usually up at 5am.

7am for moi. Wake up at 6am, sometimes 5.30am.

I do take a lot of 6am flights though so thats a 4am wake up. but i dont start working till 8am usually on such days.

Get up around 5:30; do my morning mindfulness / drink PWO

Hit the gym (squat rack in my dining room FTW) from 6 - 730

730 AM eat breakfast and head up to the office for 8 AM start (spare bedroom)

I’ll typically check/scan my emails first thing in the morning. It gives me an idea of what to expect, then my morning routine and by 8ish I’m starting my day

First thing in the morning (around 6:30-7AM) with a cup of coffee- checking emails, replying etc. And l finish at 6PM or later even though l always promise to myself to end it at 3-4PM. Never happens.

I start my day even before 6. First thing when I wake up is boot into my computer and start my coffee. By the time both are done I've dressed and I'm sitting and reading recent news and searching new markets for jobs, information, and deals. Then I commute and continue my day.

7am PST. I have a lot of customers/partners in EST and so I have to balance my sanity with peak selling time. I am closer to 7:30am on most days. Intersting the poll has 9am in second. There is a Brian Tracy audio program I quite like and he shares a story consulting for a company - it's the one with the stop watches. Anyway, he was able to prove to the executive team their problem was not spending enough time in front of customers - they fixed that, sales went up in a downturn.

Anyhow. In the story he mentioned how most sales reps make their first call at 10am. The first couple of hours in the day are when we are at our best and so are our prospects. I don't know if the 10am thing is still true, the program was from early/mid 90's.

I have found I can get people on the phone early in the day and the trend tapers off close to mid day doesn't get better until 3:30/4pm
