when do you tell your clients the price

i like to do it right after i say my name,

hey mr jones wanted to talk about x product roughly 6500 to 25000 range is tomorrow better than today?

When they ask about it, I do have to understand which features they need, so sometimes I can't just give them a number, so I explain what determines the price and calculate it ASAP during the call.

You qualify exactly what their needs are then deliver pricing then shut up and wait until their response.

Right after I ask them how much they would expect to pay for a product that does everything mine does. Risky, and only works if it’s actually well priced, but sure is fun.

Depends but usually at the proposal stage, if I'm sensing major hesitancy I'll try to deescalate by calling out price ranges earlier.
