When is it time to go?

Hi Everyone!

When did you know it was time to leave your company?

I’ve been with this company right out of college and have been here for 7 years, worked my way up from an SMB SDR to Enterprise AE. I have a great reputation here which makes me think I should stay for higher roles (management etc).

Not sure if I am going through the motions or if I feel bored/ want a change.

It's time to go when you start thinking it's time to go, and day over day your thoughts are reaffirmed.

TBH you are in a pretty cushy spot for a sales rep. I'd kill to be in your position. That being said, maybe take a look around and compare it to what you have right now. Sometimes you don't know what you got until you look around!

If you’re making good money and have a great reputation, why leave?

Usually I leave with a commission change where I’ll be making significantly less or for a better opportunity elsewhere.

When you have to think of new reasons each day you dont want to walk through those doors, or stay up each night thinking/sweating about what's coming tomorrow (in a bad way)...probably a sign.
