When looking for a new job, what are your top 3 nonnegotiable must haves?

It is certainly easy to feel as though the grass is always greener on the other side (specifically as a BDR). When looking to leave a role/company, what are the top 3 must haves you are unwilling to compromise on?

I often feel as though salary, a good culture (although very difficult to ensure looking from the outside in) and ability to be promoted are my top three.

These seem basic, am I missing something?

Am I missing more important factors?

Adding: Who cares about base and OTE? The more important consideration is HOW MUCH DO PEOPLE ACTUALLY MAKE? Mean, median, bottom performer, top performer.

Agreed. I always ask what percentage of the staff hits quota regularly, how many people go to club, and what their turnover rate is. If they give me a BS answer I can usually see through it. Only because I’ve been burned.

Good product, flexible sales method (my way as long as I hit my numbers), good potential for growth in my role/territory

Manager is a big one for me. I want to make sure that we have similar values and I will be able to learn from them.

Territory and product are also good call outs.

I look for a decent boss. Ability to move around in the company. No micromanaging. Any BS in the interview is just a preview of what is to come, so I avoid that too.

Call me what you want, just sign the damn contract
1) Pay, base and actually attainable income 2) Do I want to report to the leaders at multiple levels 3) What is the future of this technology?

Totally depends on your current situation and where you live. In general real estate is a good investment, but the market is "frothy" now, especially in certain regions.
