When selling to lawyers/law firms cut to the chase.

  • Lawyers bill their time at an average of about 250-300 an hour
  • They want to know how you will save them time on tasks they can't bill for
  • Every second you talk to them is a second they aren't billing for
  • By nature of being Lawyers they have great bull shit meters and hate fluff words

In all communications for nearly all attorneys, there are always exceptions, you need to quickly tell them how you are going to make them money by saving them time.

Seriously, most attorneys don't give a shit about your rapport building attempts. Just tell them how you will help.

This is how majority of people want to be sold to IMO. Cut the BS show the value. If the value prop makes sense, build rapport after the first meeting

My hypothesis is that it is due to social media filling us up with bull shit all day we just want people to get down to the brass tacs so we can decide if it's worth our time. I just think Lawyers are more conscious of it than the average joe

Same with Real Estate prospects - I cut the BS and have been converting like 50% now. Their time is spent finding deals and impressing their investors.ย
